The Galapagos Islands have the most Hummer Sharks in the world
The Galápagos Islands have the most number of Hummer Sharks in the world, primarily around the Darwin and Wolf islands.
Wolf Island also know as Wenman Island, named after the German geologist Theodor Wolf, it has an area of 1.3 Km2 and an altitude of 253 metros. This is a remote island separated from the rest of the main islands. nobody is allowed to live there and the Galapagos National Park does not permit any landing there. The amount of sharks and other marine species make this island a popular destination for scuba divers around the world.
